Does anyone know what I can use as an adapater for a handlebar diameter which is smaller than the quill stem?

I bought a Modolo quill stem which is 26mm in diameter but the easton handlbar which i have is 25.4 mm in diameter. I am short by a hair but can think of anything good that i can use to fill in the gap. Any ideas/past experiences?

But make sure to use a regular can. The Lite ones are too thin. ;)
A few pieces of shimstock, or folded kitchen foil, works well.

...maybe some duct tape, bailing wire, and a toothpick or two as well? A bunch of MacGyvers you guys are. :p
