1. I was running with my dog the other day and was forced to stop due to a soreness and constant pain that I started to experience in my hamstring muscle. If I ride my bike, will I aggravate the problem?

I had the same problem recently and was able to ride and only really aggravated the problem when I did steep climbs.
I beleive if you ride in moderate terrain and don't push hard for a while you will be fine,of course everyone is different.

3. You can try it, but if you feel just a little bit of pain, I wouldn't ride or do anything. Ice it, stretch it very slowly, and just take it easy.

There is no point in trying to force anything out of your body, because your body will win and could put you out of comission for a long time...

Would you continue to ice it more than 2-3 days if you stop riding totally and give your leg total rest?
