After first breaking the then 11-year-old national record at the USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships last October, Sarah Hammer broke her own American record in the womenandrsquo;s three-kilometer individual pursuit Saturday at the UCI Track World Cup in Los Angeles. Hammer clocked at time of 3 minutes, 32.058 seconds in the qualifying round to lower her previous mark of 3:32.865. After winning the points race Friday night, Hammer will compete for her second gold medal in tonight's pursuit final against Verena Joos of Germany.
