Not sure if this applies to all branches of Halfords, but I just picked up an own brand 700x37c
kevlar beaded tyre (semi slick) for a fiver. I'm sure it is not the best quality tyre in the
world but I don't begrudge a fiver for the convenience of a spare tyre that will fold small for
when I'm on tour.

Its not very clear what they will charge for stuff in the clearance corner!
I bought a box that said it was a 7 speed Shimano 11-30 cassette for £4.21 - only to find that it
actually contained 5 speed cogs for a freewheel. However there were also a pair of indicator gloves
with LEDS (!!) marked as normally £35 reduced to £17. I had seen them before on offer and took them
to the desk and asked if they were still £17. The guy checked the bar code and said they were £0.01.
So I got them.
