Hope to be walking the HWW in September. If anyone out there has any
suggestions for accommodation or do's and don'ts then I would be very glad
to receive them.
cheers

Hi.
My partner and I walked it last May. If you're camping and carrying full
kit, then my top tip is the Hadrian's Wall bus. We did 15 miles the
first day, and were very achy when we got to the first campsite. We had
the idea of getting the bus to our next campsite, setting up camp, then
getting the bus back to where we were starting from and walking without
pack. Yeah - a bit of a cheat, but made the experience much more pleasant...
If you're doing B&B, then avoid the Railway Inn in Hexam!
