Any advice on walking Hadrian's wall?
This will be our first long distance walk, planning to do it over six
days next May/June.
Going to have support team carrying our overnight kit, so plan not to
carry much ourselves
Have got the map and trail guide, but would like any personnal
experiences, advice etc.

yeah take plenty of heel rub pads 🙂 cant say i've done HW path, but have
done other long distance paths and your worst enemy is blisters and heel
rubs etc. also make sure you're well hydrated , get as much water as you
can down you.Quoted message said:

JennyHaven't done HW yet myself, although my wife and I have it down as a
future holiday. I've learnt a few things from the south west coast
path though.Make sure you stay overnight somewhere with hot baths and take a small
bottle of badedas - this really helps stop you aching the next day!
Failing that, a long hot shower is nearly as good!Make sure you have good, worn in boots, plenty of water and - if it's
sunny - a hat.You tend to feel like hell at the end of day 2 - don't give up, from
then on it gets easier every day.But most of all, good luck and have lots of fun. I think long distance
end-to-end walking is about the most rewarding form of walking there
is!Cheers
