I just purchased a HAC4 Plus and ran into a snag uploading my very first chunk of data. The data appeared to upload OK -- the HAC4 and the PC seemed to agree that 100% of the data was transferred.
As soon as the transfer completed the PC program (CicloTour) popped up a window informing me that the "Rawdata-File contains useless Datas".
Any idea what this means? Is the HAC4 broken? Did I mess up when I went through and set the HAC4 up initially? Can I get things back in sync? .... I know... sooo many questions!
I haven't been able to figure out how to clear its memory to give it a fresh start. To say the documentation is poor would be an understatement.
I suspect you forgot to get into "recording" mode by pressing LL and UL keys simultaneiously. Hence when you downloaded your workout, these wasn't any data stored. When you complete your workout, press the same buttons again to turn off recording mode. It is described in section 6.1 of their manual.

Thanks! You were absolutely right. I got confused because I saw the "mountain peaks" and forgot that they were supposed to be blinking. I got today's data and just transferred it to my PC. Everything worked great and I'm enjoying looking at all the graphical interpretations of the data. Those hills certainly felt steeper than they look on the graph!
Thanks to you and all the other HAC4 owners who have taken the time to post information. I've spent some time reading the other HAC4 posts today and have learned a bunch -- certainly more than I did on my first two passes through the Users Manual.
