HAC4 losing its marbles

Anytime a bike computer acts like that, the first thing I do
is remove the battery and then reinsert it backward,
shorting out the contacts. Doing that drains any reisdual
juice from the system, and sometimes allows it to properly
reset itself. It's a trick I picked up from the original
Cateye Solar bike computer, and it's "saved" many others
since. Worth a try.

Thanks for the idea. I tried that last night but didn't
seem to work. I have noticed (since I'm usually wearing it
on a band as a watch) that left on my desk all settings
returned to sane. Once it gets above about 28 degrees C it
goes nuts again.
