  1. I just purchased a hac 4 plus with all the software and I have a question. All the data seems correct when I upload to my pc except time spent on ride. It will show how long my ride was but when I go to overall time for ride it will show that it took 2 or 3 hours more than what I actually spent. Thanks for any suggestions.

I had a HAC 4 and returned it. The first one died within two months. It was not the battery. The second one had another problem. I never had the problem you are describing. Rather, my time was accurate for the ride as was the distance, but the average was inaccurate. I would ride for an hour which would make the distance the miles/hour. The average was lower by 1 mile per hour every time. If I rode 18.8 miles in one hour it would have a read out for the average at 17 miles/hour. I will be buying the Garmin Edge 305 this spring.

  3. I think I have it figured out. I wasn't restarting the recording at the beginning of each ride and stopping it after the ride. I was letting the auto start and stop do it's thing.
