A bit late perhaps - but there are 2 major clubs in Haarlem:
De Kampioen : hsvdekampioen.nlhsvdekampioen.nlOpen ↗
Excelsior: hrc-excelsior.nlhrc-excelsior.nlOpen ↗

I live near Noordwijk and one my rides is a trip through the dunes and back trough the tulips flieds (nice in march / april). Do not forget to go the "kopje van bloemendaal" one of the only "bumbs" in the area...

Couldnt agree more, I ride the Den Haag to Noordwijk portion along that path over the dunes a couple of times a week and its a great ride. You can even go up and down hill a bit. The tops of the dunes are great for catching faceful of wind and sand.

You can ride as far as Scheveningen although the path is a bit cut up at the moment. Also watch the lumps of frozen horse [censored], they dont mix well with T3 spoked wheels.
