Are you sure it's paint? A lot of recent aluminum frames (and steel
ones, for that matter) use powdercoat instead of paint. Paint is
touched up with more paint. Powdercoat is often near to impossible to
touch up.

If you wear a properly fitted Armani suit when you carry it in to
Neiman-Marcus, I think you could even get the woman at the cosmetics
counter to apply the nail polish for you, and buff the edges. It'll
take more than that to get a date with her, though.
