I am a novice when it comes to equipment, so please be nice and excuse any ignorance...!
I have a Ridgeback Flight 01 and i am looking to upgrade my groupset. I have Shimano 2300 chainset on the bike from the factory. I am looking at the 105 groupset, obviously it is a flatbar hybrid so i will be able to forsake buying the shifters for now. I am 6ft and have a 32 inch inside leg. I ride a 10 mile commute each day over fairly rough ground.
My question is... I dont know what combination of chainset, derailleur(s) and casette i need. There is too much choice!?! Please help! If i can buy certain parts cheaper, that would be very helpful!
