Don't know if any of you were at Interbike last week, but a guy from my hometown in Montana had a quiet booth with an awesome product! It's called the Gravity Dropper Seatpost and it's an adjustable height seatpost with a thumb lever that drops it 3 inches for descending. The whole thing weighs about 400 grams and is beautifully made. I rode it and it is definitely for real. It hasn't been written up in any publications yet, but posts are on the way to reviewers he said. Check it out the website: www.gravitydropper.com. I hope it goes well for Wayne, he is a great guy and I love his "hitec" Hite Rite.

Not a bad idea, but the price is steep for something a lot of folks won't think they need. It would make them less likely to give it a shot.
Also, tell your friend to get rid of the awful music on the web site. There are few thing that are more aggravating than [censored] like that. Normally I'd just close the browser window to make it stop, but since I wanted to have a peek at this product I muted my synthesizer volume control.
