Did anyone notice the Graeme Brown explosion with 400 meters to go in Friday's Stage 6 ? He rounded
the final left-hand corner at around 500 or 600 meters to go, right on Galvez' wheel. Galvez was on
Petacchi. And Petacchia was on Cipo. And the 5 guys in front just rode away from him inch by inch,
until he blew. I think Cipo blew too under the same acceleration by Lombardi and the zebra ahead of
Lombardi. When Galvez and Petacchi ambushed him , he just sat up. It looked like Galvez and Petacchi
were the only two guys with nitrous. The same thing happened to Brown the day before. He was in
Cipo's slipstream with about 100 metres to go and couldn't even hold the wheel! Big difference from
last year. Does Petacchi just have some unbeleivable speed right now, or are Cipo and Brown not on
top form??
