SOme time ago I wrote to this group about my epic struggle with a SRAM
Powerlink, alleging that it was the Work of Stan. I am pleased to say
that I am now a reformed character, and I think that the Powerlink is a
wonderful invention!
Yesterday I was cleaning and servicing our touring bikes ready for our
forthcoming trip to Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
I got to the chain, took a deep breath, and said the magic words. "Pinch
the plates together and slide the pins towards each other".
Viola! What could be difficult about that?
Thanks to all those who replied to my earlier posting describing how
they used the Powerlink.
Split the chain, rejoin it, split the chain, rejoin it ...
