after many months of researching and try outs, I had narrowed down my search to the Bianchi EROS (steel) or the GIRO (AL), budget wise no more than $ 1,100
I had been inclining towards the EROS because of the steel ride and the less money....
But then, on Ebay came up an opportunity I just couldn't let slip by: I got me the GIRO 2003, electric blue, new, never ridden, except for test ride on the parking lot - for $ 870.00 !!! plus 50.00 shipping.
I took it!!!

They're shipping it today from IL to New Jersey. To think that I loved it when I rode tested it at my local LBS.
I think it should be alright in spite of the AL frame, the carbon should help with a better ride.
Can't wait!!!
