but only for a two year period while they construct the lane cove
tunnel. anyone tried the "alternative, off-road" route through
narremburn?Do you mean the wiggly one that is really nice for climbing in and out
of valleys, and looking at the scenery but not quite as flat and fast
as the freeway..?The real cracker is thesouth eastern end where you get to climb up out
of the valley to the pacific hwy, or onto alpha rd and merge onto the
end of the gore hill Fwy/Warringah Expressway.Yeah - its OK. But aimed at a different level of cyclist - the
cruiser for pleasure, and not the type of person who would use the
freeway in the first place.Give it a crack and see what you think. Its nice for a change.
Your other option is the Pacific Hwy of Death! Hmm perhaps the scenic
route will be preffered.Tom
(Who builds tunnels / but doesn't like freeways becoming tollways but
thats another argument - Guess thats a mojor compromise being a
geologist in the city :/ )
