  1. Anyone doing the Goondiwindi tri on Feb5?

I would be, but I enter in the teams, and my swimmer has pulled out.

Alternatively, if you know of a team looking for a runner, I can fill in

I intend to put my entry in today and book my accomodation. I should
have done this some time ago thereby giving me more motivation to get my
lazy b*tt doing some more training. I did Goondiwindi last year, it is a
    great event.

Keep your eye on the forum at

there is normally a few threads leading up to it. You could also post
there that you are looking for a team to join, or get in touch with
Tri-Edge Tri Club as they send a bus load (literally) of teams out for
the weekend, or ring the race director he may know someone looking for a
    team.

    Hope you get out there.

  3. Thanks for the tip. I have emailed the race director, but I'll try the forum
    also.

I've done the event 6 times now (95,96,97,02,03,05). Would have done 98 also
ecept I couldnt find a swimmer. All doing the cycle leg. This year will be
my first go at the run. Problem is I can barely swim to save myself, so I
    cant do a full one.
