Hens initially attached to one drake will often leave him and go for a
younger, newer drake. I see it all the time.
I guess in that way, they are a lot like humans.
Ducks are not sentient.
Mourning doves, however DO mate for life.
Run a campaign against dove hunting. It's more real.
