  1. So...most recommend complex carbs the night before a ride. But what is a good breakfast? I've been told that you want to take in protein the day of. I've been taking in eggs, toast and OJ the morning of a ride and maybe a protein shake or fruit/vegtable smoothie about an hour before...also heard eggs are hard to digest though...

    about 1 1/2 - 2 hours
I have 50g of porridge with a sliced banana in it, soya milk and a spoon of honey. plus 20g whey protein

1/2 hour before - 2 tablespoons of glucose powder with 5g of glutamine.

It works well for me but others will say it's probably too much

  3. If I have the time before a ride, Im a big fan of scrambled eggs with a little bit of oatmeal mixed in. some think its a bit heavy, but it works for me.
