Well the train ticket is bought, the bike is shipped. I pack
up today and leave tomorrow for my Great Nova Scotia
Circumnavigation.
Well... It's not really a circumnavigation. I'll get off
the train in Truro on June 29th and return from Halifax on
July 12th.
I.ve tentatively planned a horshoe shaped route: Southwest
along the Bay of Fundy, then Southeast across the
interior of the province, then finally Northeast to
Halifax along the shoreline of my youth.
I've done up 4 alternate routes: Long, Medium1, Medium2,
Short. Long will be ~600 km and Short ~350 km. Which one I
accomplish will depend on weather, hills, winds and whims -
the usual cycling vagaries.
Wish me luck
