  1. My Mom has been on a gluten free, dairy free diet since 1965. This is
the only dressing we make to stuff our holiday birds. I have also made
it ahead of time and froze it. Just thaw it out and you are ready to
    stuff your bird.

    Holiday Stuffing

    2 1/2 cup Minute Rice
2 cup chopped celery and celery leaves
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    4 cup water
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 tsp. sage
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Rosemary, marjoram and thyme to equal 1 tsp. (opt.)
1 1/2 cup crushed gluten free corn flakes

Saute rice, celery and onion in butter until lightly browned. Gradually
add water and seasonings. Bring to boil. Cover, remove from heat and let
stand 4 minutes. Stir in cereal and let stand 1 more minute. Double
recipe for larger turkey. Any remaining stuffing can be baked separately
in a casserole. Makes 8 cups - enough for 12 pound turkey.
