  1. Hi all. I have started taking glutamine and arginine as supplements to my diet. Are there ok to take? they are not banned or anything are they? thanks

  2. Arginine is not banned and your body produces and stores it naturally, it increases oxygenation in the blood and helps build muscle(and collegen too I think), I have taken alot of it for month long periods and never expirenced anything bad, though I read in a nutrition book that taking A LOT of it(3,000 mgs daily) or so for long periods can make your skin get a certain thick toughness to it, but I never saw the need to take more than 2,000 in a day. And glutamine is a protein found in wheat I believe it helps keep detoxify the brain(especially after drinking) but other than that I don't know much about it, but I don't think it can harm you in any way
