Arginine is not banned and your body produces and stores it naturally, it increases oxygenation in the blood and helps build muscle(and collegen too I think), I have taken alot of it for month long periods and never expirenced anything bad, though I read in a nutrition book that taking A LOT of it(3,000 mgs daily) or so for long periods can make your skin get a certain thick toughness to it, but I never saw the need to take more than 2,000 in a day. And glutamine is a protein found in wheat I believe it helps keep detoxify the brain(especially after drinking) but other than that I don't know much about it, but I don't think it can harm you in any way
