My mum has been taking gliclazide to lower her glucose but
since being prescribed Modalim (ciprofibrate) to lower her
cholesterol he glucose levels are high again and the
gliclazide does not appear to be working.
Does ciprofibrate affect the effectiveness of gliclazide or
do the persistent high gluclose levels mean that my mum will
require insulin?
