I have a Pro Flex 856 (which has been sitting for a long time).
I recently started using it again, this bike has (as mentioned in the title) a Girvin suspension fork (I think it is called a leading link style fork).
There is a problem - the coil spring in the suspension is/has been dragging on the lower headset cup.
This drag is: - affecting handling - causes the steering to be VERY stiff - wearing away the lower headset cup. (it already has a nasty flat spot and will have to be replaced).
my question is: what can i do about this?? How do I increase the space between the coil and the headset there seems to be no adjustment available.
