  1. Does Ale-Jet still have it or will the mean little McEwen show him what for. CSC's new sprinter is looking pretty good.

I think I'll go for McEwen to draw first blood.

  2. Well, since you've picked McEwen I'll go with Hushovd.
    Successful breakaway isn't excluded too.

  3. sprinters

    Mcewen
    Petacchi
    Haedo
    Bettini
    Brown
    Hushovd
    Fernandez
    Forster
    Furlan
    Napolitano
    Balducci
    Rojas Gil
    Grillo
    Richeze
    Duque
    Zanini
    Van Heeswijk
    Dean
    Gasparotto

I think it will be a messy sprint, and an outsider could win.

I will choose Mcewen or Furlan in those circumstances. Perhaps Fernandez, someone who just gets the perfect run and might be 20th wheel at 500 metres but just gets a lucky wheel.

Mcewen will be riding on Petacchi's wheel from 3 kms out. So the above scenario applies to others.

I hope Furlan does not have to work for Hushovd, and he gets a free role.

  4. Can't really see past McEwen for the sprint win. Though maybe that climb 5 miles out from the finish could disrupt him slightly. Haedo should get a high placing.
