Does anything know about this climb? To me it sounds like one of the hardest stages in memory, anywhere. Are their any major races, that race on such substandard road conditions, except PR ect.

strangers to unpaved mountain passes. For example, the Gavia was only
paved in the fairly recent past.If you watch 'Stars and Watercarriers' you will see a number of
stages ridden over gravel mountain passes.Bob Schwartz
