Last time I stayed at Corrour bothy in the Cairngorms (Aug 98) there
was a message warning about Giardia and advising everyone to boil
their water for at least five minutes.

I called into the Corrour a few weeks ago (to get some respite from the
midges!) and I only saw the notice that all MBA bothies seem to have, warning
about water contamination in general - no specific mention of giardia.
