I am currently in the process in purchasing my first road bike and am wondering which size I should go with. According to the giant size chart I am in between L and XL being 6'2 and having an inseam of 36''. Anyone with any experience with Giant care to steer me in the right direction or at least give some input on this? Thanks.

At a shade under 6' with long arms and legs, I'm very happy riding a ML TCR with a 12 cm stem. Well, I'm switching to a less reachy bar with a 13 cm stem, but that's another story.
While I could easily straddle a L, its 58.5 cm top tube is too stretchy for me, which is why I recommend the L for you. Your reach should be about right with a 12 or 13 cm stem, and the 18.5 cm head tube will give you a good range for your handlebar height, unless you're trying to get a "plush" posture a la Specialized Roubaix or Giant Defy. But if that is what you're after, then you wouldn't be asking about the TCR.
