Hi, just a quick question. Can anyone tell me why the TCR Advanced 2 2010 version is so much more expensive that the 2009 version?? Looking at the specs they look very similar.

I don't recall the specifics, but a salesman recently informed me that the Ultegra components on the 2010 version of Giant's TCR Advanced 2 have been redesigned/changed slightly in such a way that they are now closer to Dura-Ace.I wish I could give you specifics, yet I'm sure some of the more knowledgeable folks on here could offer more information about this difference between the 2009 model's Ultegra components and what is now on the 2010.

Ah ok, that explains a bit. But surely an upgrade to near dura-ace from ultegra isn't worth the extra £850 on retail price?? The advanced 3 went up £350 as well??

Yeah, I agree that IS rather a lot of extra quid. Myself, I ended up getting a 2009 closeout of this same bike (TCR Advanced 2), which went for $2,300 US.
