  1. Hi all.

This is my first post so please bear with me if i don't get things quite right.

I have a giant terago which has done about 5000 km in that time the front brake caliper has stopped releasing.

The brakes are the hydraulic MPH type.

Is there a simple spring that releases the breaks or is it that I need to add additional fluid.

The bike is well looked after and cleaned every week so I hope it's not dirt ingress into the caliper.

    Thanks for your help

  2. If you know how to bleed our brake lines, then for the time being, swap the rear caliper for the front, and vice versa ...

I think one recommendation is to service them every year-or-two, so at 5000 km, your brakes are probably due.

The techique for bleeding the brakes varies, so you'll have to look it up on the respective website.

As far as adding more brake line fluid, different brand calipers use different fluids ... none are compatible; so, you'll need to look up that info, too!
