I need a replacement headset for a newer Giant aluminum frame. It is a Cypress frame and appears to
use an integrated 1 1/8" headset style. Can I use a non-integrated headset for this application? Are
all integrated headsets the same size for press-in or do I need to bite down and contact Giant for a
specific headset?
FYI, this is for a hybrid frameset without front suspension.

No.

Giant uses off the shelf integrated headset parts for most of their bikes. Cane Creek makes a good
replacement.
