Try greasing the threads on the one you got before throwing money away.You need english thread with either 68 or 73 shell width.You need to measure spindle length and match that.

ah right ok, cheers mate, so it could be just the threads that are causing the creaking rather than the bearings, ill try that 1st :-) thanks for the info
