If you are looking at eBay auction 3680059828, I suggest you
ignore the sizing suggestions from the seller which are
highly optimistic.

If the fit, condition and price are good, looks like a perfectly
acceptable bike to me.

Can you explain the remarks about sizing? For a 5' 8" rider, would this
seem too small, large or OK?

An 18" bike does not fit a range of riders from 5'0" to 6'0",
no matter how long the seatpost is.
