Fear of a flat planet

I have a Giant AC1 18". I'm a big dude, so the AC1 fits me
great. I don't use it for FR or DH, other then what I
encounter on the trail. One thing to do is get a Thomson
seat post. It had a Titec post with a "shim" (shame on Giant
) and it would creak once in awhile. I put on pair of
Panaracer 2.1 Fire XC Pro's which made it more trail worthy.
I'm on my 2nd season with the AC1. The other complaint I
ever had with the AC1 was the slack seat angle. I had maxed
out the angle adjustment on the Titec and made it just trail
worthy. With the Thomson Seat Post I still have a little
more adjustment left and It's now at the perfect angle for
my style. Other then that, it's been great.
