January has been a very, very lean riding month so far. Between weather, obligations, and health, I've barely been on the bike.
So how do you guys approach it when you've been away for a short while, say two to three weeks?
Do you:
a) Ease back into it b) Hit it hard right out of the blocks with recovery days in between c) Hit it hard with no recovery days d) something in between

I normally resume my pre-break volumes but cut the intensity of all high-intensity efforts about 10% (watts). So, if I was doing my L4s at 250W, I would probably back off to 225W for the first week back.

i do a) and i blame myself for it and try not to brake my riding again, at the very least try to do random training here and there to avoid a complete lost of condition,

I usually do an easy day and then go right back to my schedule.
