  1. German Chocolate Pie

    4oz of sweetened chocolate
    1/4 cup butter
    1 12oz can evaporated milk
    3 Tbsp corn starch
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 large eggs
    1/8 tsp salt
    2/3 cup coconut flakes
    1/3 cup pecan chips
    Whipped cream
    1 Tbsp chocolate shavings.

Melt the butter and chocolate in a sauce pan over medium heat. Slowly combine
the evaporated milk and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, corn
starch, vanilla, salt and eggs. When completely mixed, slowly stir in the
chocolate mixture. Pour into a pre-made deep dish pastry shell. Add the
coconut flakes and pecan chips on top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Allow the
pie to cool for 4 hours before serving. Top with whipped cream and chocolate
    shavings.
