I'm looking to buy a relatively inexpensive single speed and found this one:

Is it any good or should I save a bit longer and buy something in the
£700-800 price bracket instead?

Try http://www.on-one.co.uk though you might have to wait for
stock to come back in. ISTR my Inbred was ~£350 on offer last year &
it's been the bike I've enjoyed most for years.
