Hi all.
Has anyone else had problems with the sidewalls breaking up on Geax
puncture-proof road tyres ?
I've just had one go on the back after only 6 months / 1,000 commuting
miles.
When it happened before I put it down to a maladjusted brake ...
yours, somewhat disenchanted ....

Oh well, the guy in the shop told me I probably ran them too soft ....
.... front tyre was falling apart too so I've coughed up 40 quid for a pair
of continentals with genuine kevlar ...
They've got a bit more tread and felt more heavy going, so I'll have to wait
and see ...

The shop suggested I'd been running them a bit too soft ...
I've now fitted "Continental" touring tyres front and back - with genuine
Kevlar - 20 quid each though !
