Hi
can anyone help i just bought a lemond reno but the gears are making an odd noise.
When on the smallest of the double front chainset the chain touches the biggest cog and makes a noise. I have had a look but am stuck fo ideas anyone help or had the same problem

Sounds like you're saying when you're in the smallest of the chainrings up front and in the smallest cog in back you hear noise? That's completely normal and can't be fixed with anything other than moving up to the bigger chainring up front and upshifting into one of the larger cogs in back. All bikes do this and it's generally understood that when riding in the "small/small" or "big/big" gear combinations you'll force more stress on your chain and in the case of "small/small", will cause undue wear on the big chainring up front.
