hi,

I am writing on behalf of my best friend. Basically, he has had severe pains in his stomach for a
while. After having an endoscopy done, they said that he had a bad case of acid reflux. So they gave
him medication and to stay off eating late at nights. The pains continued. So he later went to a
homeopath. They did a series of tests, and they told him that he was Gluten intolerrant. He is now
having to eat all foods that are gluten free for the next two months to see how it all goes. During
the past few days, he has had severe pains in his stomach. I have never heard him in so much pain.
There are times when he does spit blood, but that's because of the acid working into his tissue and
making it bleed. I think what he has is GastroIntestinal reflux.

Could someone give any advice on who what he can do or who he could see or any form of advice? Are
there any specialists that he could see? We would even look into sending him abroad for treatment.

Please could someone get back to me.

My mother-in-law used to suffer from this, but not to the same extent from what you`re saying. I
came across something on the net where you buy root ginger and throw it through a juicer, and take
something like 1 teaspoon a day.

She tried it (tasted foul apparently), but it did seem to ease off for her, and she hasn`t had it
back (to my knowledge) since - it`s been a couple of years since we bought her the juicer.

Google for "acid reflux ginger juice" and you`ll find some more info
