My Garmin 305 doesn't seem to start a new record/session when I press the stop and then start button. Meaning, if I do a 100k ride one day, press stop, switch off, then the next day switch on and press start, the distance timer starts from 100k. When I DL to the PC, there's one file which has two exersises on the graph, connected by a flat line of a day.
Has anyone else had this? It seemed to work fine before. 😕
Cheers

You have to hold the reset button following your ride so it starts a new "file" for your next workout.
1 Press Stop when your ride is finished 2 Hold the Lap/reset button for about 5 seconds
Next time around you will have a new file

That is correct. The start/stop button is on the right and the left button has to be held for over 5 seconds to reset.
