    Due to the vast differences in quality between brands of garlic powder, and
    the variability of the crops themselves, it's impossible to determine
    equivalents. Is it a general question? Or does it refer to a specific
    recipe?

    Totally depends on the brand. Use it to taste.

    FWIW, I think they are different beasts, actually - and I use them as
    two separate seasonings.
