Hi all, Need surgery to get back on bike. I've seen a consultant and he has suggested fusion of L3-4. However, i am worried that i will lose the flexibility needed to get a good aero position on my bike. Thus, would disc replacement be better or is it less likely to be a success? These are all questions to ask the consultant but I'd like to hear from cyclists who've gone through either procedure and how you were afterwards. Thanks, knight987

Have you tried a spinal specialist that also specializes in sports medicine???
