funny sight at the pool today

  1. There was a woman who very carefully put on a snorkel and then proceeded to
    attempt the breast stroke. Every other stroke, she would stop and drain the
    snorkel and then put it back on. She wouldn't give up! Oh well, I knew she
    wasn't a swimmer from her attire: no women swimmers that I have seen wear
    swimsuits with skirts.

    How did she get water in the snorkel doing breaststroke?

    For one thing, she had it pointed to the outside instead of backwards. It
    was a scuba snorkel, not the kind specially made for swim training. And, she
    completely went underwater with each stroke. She never did figure out what
    was wrong.
