Hi i'm new around here and I came here specifically to see if anyone can answer this question.
Me and my mate were reminiscing about cyclists from our younger days and we naturally got onto Mario Cipollini. Anyway, my mate reckons he saw video of Super Mario crashing his bike into the front of a shop in a race (probably the Tour). He then describes the shop owner coming out to play hell with the person who crashed into his shop.......realised it was the Lion King.......shook his hand and then gave him a push on his way!!
My question is: can anyone confirm this happened? Was it Cipo or can anyone add anything else to the story? Also if anyone can link to this video I would be most grateful. Cipollini had the very best ego of any cyclist ever and any humouros story about him just kills me!
