Easiest Fudge in the World
1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 12-oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 tsp of your favorite
extract: vanilla, mint, peppermint, orange are some ideas
Pour sweetened condensed milk and chips into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 5 minutes,
stirring halfway through. When done, stir in extract of your choice, until everything is well
blended and smooth. Pour into a lightly greased 8x8 or 9x9 pan. Let cool, then cut into squares.
Mom's Fudge
My mother made this every year at Christmas time. We cut it into small squares that we then wrapped
with colored foil paper and tied with ribbons to hang on the Christmas tree. She got the recipe off
either a marshmallow Fluff jar or chocolate chips package.
1 can evaporated milk 4 cups sugar
1/4 lb (1 stick) butter -- not margarine dash of salt 1 12-oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips 1
jar marshmallow Fluff
In a large heavy sauce pan (we always used the 4-qt pressure cooker), heat the evaporated milk,
sugar, butter, and salt over medium heat, stirring constantly. Eventually it will start to bubble.
When you are able to get a drop of this mixture to for a soft ball in a cup of ice water, remove
from the heat. Quickly stir in the chocolate chips, Fluff, and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Pour
into a lightly greased 9x13 pan and allow to cool. Cut into squares.
