I am using FSA Gossamer Compact cranks 34/50- is it possible to get FSA chainrings in different sizes that will fit my cranks?

You can use ALMOST any brand, 110BCD chainrings with your compact crankset ... the exception is Campagnolo's current "compact" chainrings whose "hidden" bolt hole is a slightly different size (and, therefore needs slight modification to fit).
