I have for sale an older set of Mavic Cosmic clinchers. For those of you who have been around for awhile, you will remember these as the aluminum version with low spoke count. I purchased these earlier this year from a guy who "retired" from racing and had not used them in approx 8 years. These ARE NOT the carbon model. They are most similar in depth to Campy Shamal and the original CXP 33 rim of the late 90's. Both wheels are circa 1996. I have pictures for interested parties. Nice aero wheelset, not the lightest in the world, but pretty darn fast. Will accept shimano 7/8/9 speed. It may accept 10 speed cassettes, but I do not know for sure. I'm selling because I have all campy bikes and these just have not been getting used since they don't accept a campy cassette. I would like to get $299 shipped for them, or if you are in the NH area and can pick them up I would sell them for $270. pictures are available to interested parties. Can include wheel bags if you want them. Will include special spoke wrench too. Skewers are also included.
They'll take a 10 speed just fine. Nice wheels actually - but Mavic no longer has freewheel parts/pawls for them, which put a customer of mine at the shop in a real bind once upon a time...

Thank you for updating me on that. So, how about I lower the price to $260 shipped and $235 if buyer can pick up in Concord, NH.
