The Light and Motion Solo Logic is a very nice halogen light.
It throws light far enough for me to ride comfortably at speeds over
20 mph.
Its been used only for commuting, no off road or rain use. Basically,
its been used 2 or 3 times a week for only three months a year. I've
had the light for just three years.
Quoting from an eBay seller who says everything I need to say,
"3 light levels, adjustable beam width and more: High quality
reflector provides broad, even, natural light fill, and is adjustable
for a flood or spot pattern Three light levels: 6, 10, and 13 watts
Side windows provide side visibility on the road and handlebar
illumination for computers Swivel mount allows side to side and up and
down aiming on the fly while staying secure on the mount 2, 2.8, and 4
hours run time in the three settings. Low battery warning.
Automatically goes into 6 watt mode with 15 minutes left on the
battery Includes two mount kits for 25.4/31.8 bars AND the helmet
Turbocharger can charge battery in 3.5 hours. 594 grams. 7.2v, NiMH
battery."
A nice review of the light is found here:

All of this is true.
You get the light, handlebar and helmet mounts, the turbo charger
(which is a smart charger, full charge in just 3.5 hours and you can
leave the battery plugged in indefinitely without damaging it,) and a
7,2v NiMH battery.
Everything works. Its in excellent condition, though I have one caveat
to mention. Instead of the rated 2 hours on high setting, I find that
I only get 1 hour 40 minutes.
All batteries degrade over time and this may be what is happening to
this one. Replacement batteries can be purchased through Light and
Motion or some battery/electronics stores. This light and the turbo
charger are compatible with all of Light and Motions batteries, so you
could upgrade to a lithium battery for even linger run times (or you
could keep using the included NiMH battery and be just fine.)
Now, about the cost, how about $125 shipped
Pictures available on request.
